House & Apartment Cleaning

Routine maintenance cleaning for houses, townhouses, condos and apartments. This service is designed to keep your home consistently fresh once it has been brought to a solid baseline condition.

Pricing structure

$35/hour per cleaner with a 2-hour minimum per visit (labour before HST).

How billing works: we bill by total labour time (person-hours). For example, if 2 cleaners work 2 hours, that equals 4 labour hours.

The Request form shows a non-binding estimate based on bedrooms, bathrooms, floors and selected extras. Final timing and priorities are confirmed before we start.

Our standard workflow (start to finish)

We follow a consistent, regulated process to keep results predictable and efficient. The sequence may vary slightly by layout, but the logic stays the same: top-to-bottom, dry-to-wet, and floors last.

Entry + priorities: quick walk-through, confirm focus areas and access rules.
Reset & tidy (where possible): clear obvious items on surfaces to enable proper cleaning.
Dry work: dusting, wiping, and touch-ups in living areas and bedrooms.
Bathrooms: sanitize sinks, counters, toilets, tubs/showers, mirrors and visible fixtures.
Kitchen: counters, sink, stovetop, and exterior of main appliances; spot-wipe as needed.
Final floors: vacuuming first, then mopping hard floors (after all surface work is done).
Quality control: final walkthrough / checklist pass in the included areas, high-touch points and visible spots.

What’s typically included (maintenance standard)

All main areas

General dusting of accessible surfaces, furniture and decor.
Spot-wipe of doors/handles/light switches where needed.
Vacuuming rugs/carpets and visible edges where accessible.
Mopping hard floors (after vacuuming).
Garbage tidy (replace liner if provided; disposal to designated area).

Kitchen & bathrooms

Bathroom: toilet, sink/counter, mirror, tub/shower (standard soap scum).
Kitchen: counters, sink, stovetop surface wipe.
Exterior wipe of main appliances (fridge, oven, microwave) as needed.
Quick wipe of visible cabinet fronts where needed (light marks).

This is a time-based service. If a home needs heavier buildup removal or detailed restoration, we recommend starting with a Deep Cleaning to establish a baseline, then moving to a maintenance schedule.

Not included by default (available as add-ons or deep clean)

Inside fridge, inside oven, inside cabinets/drawers (add-ons; must be empty).
Interior or exterior windows beyond safe/accessible areas (add-on).
Heavy buildup removal, grout restoration, mould remediation (not standard; assessed case-by-case).
High ladder work or unsafe access areas.
Post-construction or renovation debris (special scope).

Typical time ranges (guidelines)

Typical 1–2 bedroom apartment (maintenance): 2–3 hours total visit time.
Typical 3–4 bedroom home (maintenance): 3–5 hours total visit time.
Pets, high traffic, extra bathrooms, and add-ons require additional time.

These ranges assume a maintained baseline. If the property has not been professionally cleaned in a while, an initial deep clean may be more efficient than trying to “catch up” inside a short maintenance visit.

Popular add-ons for maintenance visits

Add-ons are billed by time at the same hourly rate. The Request form estimate uses typical time additions (planning values) and updates automatically as you select extras.

Inside fridge

Shelves, drawers and interior surfaces (fridge should be emptied). Typical time added: ~15–30 minutes (condition-dependent).

Inside oven

Light to moderate soil level. Typical time added: ~20–40 minutes.

Interior windows

Accessible windows and glass doors (interior). Typical time added: ~10–15 minutes per window.

Do I need to be home?

Not necessarily. Many clients provide entry instructions. We confirm details before arrival.

What if we can’t finish everything?

This is time-based. We prioritize agreed areas first. If time runs out, we document priorities and adjust on the next visit.

Is this the same as deep cleaning?

No. Maintenance is designed for upkeep. Deep cleaning targets buildup and detailed areas to establish a baseline.

Do you bring supplies?

Yes, we bring standard supplies. If you have product preferences, note them in your request.
