Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning

Detailed cleaning for empty or nearly-empty properties, prepared for handover, inspections, new tenants, new owners, or pre-listing staging.

Pricing structure

$35/hour per cleaner with a 2-hour minimum per visit (labour before HST).

Person-hours: the invoice is based on total labour time. Example: 2 cleaners × 4 hours = 8 labour hours.

Preparation checklist (important)

Move-in / move-out cleaning is fastest and most effective when the space is empty. For any “inside cabinet / inside appliance” work, the areas must be cleared before we arrive.

Remove personal items from countertops, floors, and shelves where possible.
Empty cabinets/drawers if you want inside cleaning.
Empty the fridge/oven if inside appliance cleaning is requested.
Ensure utilities are on (water/electricity) and access is confirmed.
If there is heavy trash/leftovers, we confirm disposal rules or you handle removal beforehand.

What’s typically included

Whole property

Detailed dusting/wipe-down of accessible surfaces.
Baseboards, reachable trim and door frames (time-dependent).
Floors: vacuuming and mopping throughout.
Spot cleaning of marks on doors/frames where possible.

Kitchen & bathrooms

Detailed bathrooms (fixtures, mirrors, tub/shower, toilet, sink/counter).
Kitchen counters, sink, backsplash, stovetop surface.
Exterior of appliances; inside cleaning available as add-on (empty required).

This is a time-based service. We prioritize what is most visible/important for inspection and handover, then continue deeper details as time allows.

Typical timing (guidelines)

Empty 1–2 bedroom apartment: 4–6 hours total visit time (condition-dependent).
3–4 bedroom house: 6–10+ hours total visit time (scope dependent).
Add-ons (inside appliances, inside cabinets) increase time.
